Rename a project

Project names should match the terms your team uses in drawings, work orders or job systems. Rename a project when the original label is unclear or inconsistent.

Before renaming

Check whether the name is already used elsewhere in your workflow. Decide on the final spelling and job reference first.

Rename carefully

• Open the project or project catalogue in the Android app.
• Use the available project edit or rename control.
• Confirm the new name, then check that future photos use it.

Existing files

A project rename in the app does not necessarily rewrite every file name or every copy that has already been exported. Check your exported records before assuming older files changed as well.
