Organize photos by project or site
The simplest way to keep field photos useful is to give them consistent project or job context when they are captured.
Choose a naming pattern
Use a short project name plus a stable reference, for example “A12 Bridge 04” or “Plant 2 – Roof”.
Avoid creating several spellings for the same site. Consistency makes later file searching and reporting easier.
Set the project before a photo run
Confirm the active project or job context before taking a sequence of photos. This is faster than trying to identify every image later from the camera roll.
Android project tools
The Android app includes more mature project and gallery tools than iOS. Feature parity is improving over time, so the exact organization options may differ between platforms.
