Move Conota to a new phone

The app and the photo records are two separate things. Reinstalling Conota does not automatically guarantee that every local project photo moves with it.

Before changing phones

• Back up or copy the Conota photo folders and any project records you need.
• Confirm the account used for your App Store or Google Play purchase.
• If you use a business account, make sure you know the sign-in details or have access through your organization.

On the new phone

• Install Conota from the same app store.
• Restore or sign in to the relevant purchase/account where applicable.
• Copy or sync your photo records using your normal storage workflow.

Check before wiping the old device

Open several older photos and a recent photo on the new phone before erasing the old device.
