Location permissions on iOS

iOS controls whether an app can access location and whether that location is precise or approximate.

Recommended setting

• Open Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services, or open Conota directly from the Settings app.
• Allow location while using Conota.
• Enable Precise Location when accurate coordinates are important to your documentation.

If location remains blank

• Confirm that Location Services are enabled for the device.
• Move to an area with a better view of the sky and wait for the phone to update its position.
• If the device is managed by an organization, a mobile-device policy may restrict location access.
