Location permissions on Android
Android can grant precise or approximate location. Conota needs location access if you want to include GPS-based information with a photo.
Enable permission
- Open Settings → Apps → Conota → Permissions.
- Select Location.
- Allow location while using the app.
- Choose precise location rather than approximate location where that option is available.
Check device location
Make sure Location is enabled for the phone itself. Some Android devices also provide location-accuracy settings that combine satellite, Wi-Fi and mobile network information.
Managed devices
On company-managed phones, location permissions can be controlled by an administrator. Contact your IT team if the setting is locked.
Tip: test any new setup with one photo before using it across a live project.
